Dr Kieren Wilson is an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist working at The Mater, North Shore Private and Prince of Wales hospitals. His aim is to ensure women have information, resources and care to feel empowered when it comes to their own pregnancy, birth and health.
He completed his general medical training at the Royal Prince Alfred hospital in Sydney and his specialist obstetric and gynaecological training at The Royal Hospital for Women. During further training at the internationally renowned St. Thomas’ and Chelsea & Westminster hospitals in London, Dr Wilson gained additional exposure to high-risk obstetrics, medical conditions in pregnancy, ultrasound and was awarded a certificate of Advanced Labour Ward Practice.
Dr Kieren Wilson has extensive experience supporting women in pre-pregnancy planning, managing health conditions during pregnancy, high risk pregnancy and pregnancy and birth after previous caesarean section. He also has experience in benign gynaecological conditions, infertility, gynaecological oncology, complex gynaecological surgery, abnormal cervical screening results, women’s health screening and contraception advice.
Dr Kieren Wilson provides pregnancy care, pre-pregnancy counselling and gynaecological care at his consulting rooms at The Mater Clinic in Wollstonecraft and in Sydney’s CBD.
