Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work (Developed by Gottman Institute)

This workshop has been designed for couples in committed relationships and aims to assist them in understanding, and applying to their own marriages, the research about what makes marriages work, versus what makes marriages deteriorate and ultimately fail. This psycho-educational skills workshop is based on the four decades of groundbreaking research by Dr. John Gottman and his colleagues, described in their New York Times Bestseller The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work.

This 12 hour workshop, over 2 days, provides evidence based tools to help couples improve relationship quality and satisfaction through teaching and demonstrations, and one-on-one work sessions aimed at:

  • Gaining skills in managing conflict constructively
  • Gaining skills to address perpetual and solvable problems
  • Improving friendship, fondness, admiration
  • Enhancing romance and intimacy
  • Engaged, Newlyweds and those in committed long term relationships

Our Family Day Care program features 25 early childhood specialists who work out of their own homes, providing care & education to small groups of young children.

It is a beautiful form of care. Our team provides very warm and nurturing environments, maintains close connections and communication with families and prepares their daily program specifically for the needs and milestones of each child.

More than 200 children enjoy the benefits of our Family Day Care service. Families tell us what they value most is consistency – they arrive at care and are greeted by one Educator who knows their child well.

Families receive detailed information about their child’s day – the activities they engaged in, their learning areas of focus and how their child is building their strengths. It’s a level of communication unique to Family Day Care.

A parent recently said her children's Family Day Care Educator “personalises her care around the needs, interests and different stages of development that each of the children are at. She is an extremely experienced and competent Early Childhood Teacher who has taught my children so much and has been such an integral part of their development."
