This experience is a meat lovers dream. A once in a lifetime opportunity for anyone who loves quality meat to learn about butchery, enjoy a meal and take home a range of goodies!

Join Mark Rogers, one of Australia’s best Butchers with over 25 years experience in the meat industry and a member of the Australian Steelers Butcher team as he takes you through the daily running of his award winning Kareela Village Store.

You’ll watch as Mark demonstrates breaking down of whole carcasses of Beef, lamb, Pork & Poultry and get an idea of each cut and their many different uses and cooking methods.

You will also see how sausages are made, a quick insight into small goods manufacture and see how Ham & Bacon is prepared and Smoked.

You’ll also be given the opportunity to prepare and cut up your own whole beef rump which you will of course get to take home!

There will be a BBQ and drinks served on the night and lots of extras to take home.

The package includes:

1. 1 x whole grass fed beef rump to prepare
2. 1 x Victorinox boning knife, 1 x Victorinox Steak knife (value over $100.00)
3. 1 x Stapleton’s Hat
4. 1 x Sharpening steel
5. 1 x booklet with cooking and BBQing tips, as well as info on different meat cuts and how to best prepare, store and cook.
6. 1 x BBQ dinner and drinks on the night
