Our 1.5k+ Instagram following is great for businesses looking to build their brand and grow a local audience of mums. It’s the perfect medium to showcase creative services, such as photographers or cake makers or physical products like kids clothing – anything visual!
The Mums of the Shire Facebook page is close to reaching 6k fans and acts as a virtual community message board. It offers an opportunity for local businesses to promote their products and services to a niche, targeted audience.
Our thriving Community Facebook Group has more than 6k members of local mums. This is a place where business owners can initiate conversations with their target audience, inviting feedback, gauge interest in new offerings, or simply find out more about how your business can help them.
Business hour is 8-9pm each Thursday evening. Only our partnering businesses are allowed to post during business hour which makes it a great exclusive chance to reach your target audience.
We recently changed our settings so that posts in the community group now require admin approval before they are published. We have introduced this process to ensure only our advertisers’ business posts appear in the group and it also enables us to quickly and efficiently filter any spam posts.
The added benefit to this new process is that you can now write and post your business posts at any time on a Thursday between 12noon and 9pm, just write *Business Hour Post* in the first line, and we will approve and publish your post for you during business hour (between 8pm and 9pm). Hopefully, this should ensure our clients don’t miss their opportunity to post during the business hour window.
Posting during business hour is a great way for our partnering businesses to build trust and awareness, and forge valuable relationships with members of our community. While business posts may not necessarily create immediate sales conversions if it beneficial to your business to take advantage of these weekly posts, as they work to remove barriers to purchase and put your business in the consideration set when mums are in the market for your particular product or service.
If you have any questions about this process or any questions in general regarding Mums of the Shire, please feel free to drop us a line to discuss.
