The Camellia Gardens can be accessed from President Avenue & Kareena Road Caringbah. Car parking ia available at the venue (top and lower car parks) but we recommend carpooling if possible.
The gardens are also about a 10 min walk from Miranda and Caringbah train stations.
We will set up around the duck pond, in front of the kid’s play area.
This area is pram and wheelchair accessible via the lower entry/car park.
Come celebrate motherhood with our fabulous Mums of the Shire community.
Everyone is welcome, just pack a picnic and a rug for a laid-back catch-up in the park. As usual we are planning lots of activities for the kids, to give you an opportunity to catch up with other mums.
Please don’t be shy. If you’ve never attended one of our events before, now is the time; we will also be setting up a “Mums Meeting Mums” area to help give those of you who are new to the area, or missed out on forming a mother’s group an opportunity to meet and network with other local mums.
All kids’ activities provided at the Mums of the Shire Spring Picnic require full parent supervision. Parents must not leave their children unattended at any time. Camellia Gardens has a number of unfenced ponds and water sources and therefore parents are urged to be vigilant. Please keep a keen eye on children at all times.
Our super talented audio/visual friends will be on hand to capture the occasion. Images and video may be used on MOTS websites, publications, social media or by newspapers. Please notify us prior to the event if you do not wish to be photographed.
If you have interest in the picnic, either through your business or in another capacity please contact us here.
