With strong roots in the Sutherland Shire, Nurture & Grow is a family owned and operated, boutique early learning centre in Miranda. We provide individual and high quality child care in an environment designed, so that your child can feel safe and nurtured to develop and grow with confidence.

Our Philosophy
An early learning and long day centre with a focus on individual, child-centred learning.
We create personalised social, academic and physical learning programs for each child by customising our evolving curriculum to embrace their interests, abilities and strengths. Fostered with respectful and caring relationships that encourage, our passionate educators provide each child the opportunity to express and explore their thoughts, feelings and imagination in a nurturing and safe environment.

Our Core Values

Family centred childcare
Children and their families are at the very heart of our centre. We embrace and create learning programs around each child’s development requirements by listening and valuing the input and collaboration with their families. We wish to ensure children are nurtured to grow as unique Individuals. We aim to offer a continuity for children by creating an extension of their home away from home in our welcoming and nurturing centre. Our educators build a relationship with each child and to come to know them as we do our family. By acknowledging each child’s needs and their cultural values, together we create a secure space for children to learn, flourish and belong.

Education led by children
We recognise children are capable of making their own choices and believe children should be empowered to express their own ideas and points of view. It is through a child-led approach where we follow and support your child’s lead as they explore, play and discover, that we create customised learning programs for each child to develop their skills, education and imagination. By providing opportunities for children to lead, we believe they will develop and learn in their natural world and discover all they want to be.

A play based early learning centre
We recognise that play is the occupation of childhood and it is through play-based activities that children engage, learn and grow as well as communicate, collaborate and creatively imagine. Whilst in our care, we support each child as they explore and discover their natural environments and we acknowledge the importance of playful curiosity at this special time in their lives. Play offers them a platform to develop problem solving skills and to grow socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. Through play children flourish.
