Sharks Basketball Association
Sutherland Sharks Basketball has over 3,500 members registered to play basketball.
Sharks offer a wide variety of competitions, starting from our Saturday morning Mini ball (ages 9-10). We have a range of divisions across our Boys U12, U14, U16 and U18 competitions, catering for the beginner through to our representative players. Our Junior Girls competitions are held on a Wednesday.

Our Senior competitions are held across Monday to Thursday depending on the grade. We have Premier League divisions for our experienced players, down to lower men's grades and a social women's competition. We also offer FREE Walking basketball on a Tuesday morning, for all levels of experience, and all ages.
Sutherland Sharks are closely involved with the Shire Schools via our Sporting Schools program. We can provide one off development/trial classes for small school groups, through to Sport programs that run across the whole school term. Holiday camps are very popular at Sharks Basketball! Most camps fill up, so if your child has a basketball interest and has not yet attended a camp (9am-3pm), make sure you check out our Holiday Camps page on our website. https://sutherlandbasketball.com.au/learn/holidaycamps/
Our Sharks representative program covers junior and senior teams, high performance coaching sessions and our Sharks Academy (training for our young players with goals to make a 2025 rep team). Trails occur at the end of each year, for the following year's teams.
Sharks Events - Sutherland Sharks host numerous events across the year, from our NBL1 team game nights, 3x3 Hustle competitions, and Primary and Senior School gala days. We also hire out our venue for community events such as the My Kids Market.
