Hi, I’m Emma
I am Birth and Postpartum Doula, based in the Sutherland Shire, and service many surrounding suburbs including St George, Bankstown, Inner West & Eastern Suburbs. I will travel up to one hour to offer unwavering support for you at home and in the hospital.
I support many different types of births in all types of environments, including Homebirth, Birth Centre and both Public & Private Hospitals.
As your Doula, I assist you to birth your baby by using natural pain relief techniques, massage, encouragement, relaxation, aromatherapy, homeopathy, breath tools and other comfort measures. I help your partner feel more trusting of the birth process and more confident in their role as support person. I already know that you can birth your baby easily and naturally using your mind, intuition and innate birthing power as your tools.
I use my signature strengths as an intuitive & empath to guide you in reconnecting with your body, and to remind you of your own unique skillset and coping mechanisms that will allow you to bring this baby into the world in a way that is deeply empowering and satisfying. I work alongside the whole family, and advocate for you in collaboration with your care providers.
As your Doula in Postpartum, my support continues with a birth debrief, providing you nourishing meals, gentle reassurance, referral to local providers, babywearing demonstrations, settling techniques, and breastfeeding or bottle feeding support. With a special interest in postpartum preparation and traditional postpartum care, I’ll leave you knowing you have all the tools within you for deep satisfaction in your role as a Mother from the very beginning.
When we meet, we can work out the areas where you need support the most. My Doula package is flexible – I provide a customised service that will meet your individual needs.
I am currently supporting only one client per month, so you can be assured you will receive my utmost attention and care.
