~Ticket sales end on Saturday 19th June~

Are you a mum but can’t tell the story of your child’s birth without tearing up with sadness?
Have you heard the words “At least you had a healthy baby!” one too many times, as if your experience was not important?
Do you feel like your body failed you for not getting the birth that you wanted and planned for?

It’s not your fault. And you are not alone. Sadly 1 in 3 women experience their birth as traumatic!

Come along to this extra special inaugural ‘Birth Story Healing’ workshop for mothers, where you will participate in some transformational practices, so that you will feel seen, held, and validated, while transforming your grief into healing. (~BABES IN ARMS WELCOME~)

Your facilitator is Virginia Maddock, a local doula and womb healer who has been attending births for over 15 years and running personal Birth Trauma Release sessions for her clients for 8 years. Now Virginia brings her depth of experience into a workshop setting, incorporating techniques with influences from her many wise teachers, including Jane Hardwicke-Collings (School of Shamanic Womancraft), Pam England (Birthing From Within), Tami Lynn Kent (Holistic Pelvic Care, Wild Feminine, Mothering From Your Centre), Bushra Finch (Mizan Therapy womb healing) and S.N. Goenka (Vipassana meditation).

This workshop is suitable for any woman of any age who has had a less than positive birth experience, either recently or in the distant past, and would like to find peace, reclaim her power, move forward in life, and step into her role as a confident mother.

Here are some previous testimonies for Virginia’s private Birth Trauma Release sessions:

“I had a pregnancy / birth healing with Virginia and I recommend this to anyone who has any fears around giving birth, especially if you have any trauma whatsoever around a previous birth experience. Virginia is a beautiful, empathetic lightworker and I immediately felt comfortable around her presence. She listened to my story and worked through all my fears with me. A few days later I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl with no pain relief whatsoever. I remembered everything we worked through in our session and I had trust within myself, my body and my baby. I breathed through all the contraction pains. The birth actually felt magical, I saw the pain as a part of me rather than something happening to me. Now I have no fears to go through it again and actually look forward to another birth experience. Virginia continues to keep in touch after our session to check in on me and if I have any questions which I find invaluable and supportive. Thank you Virginia ?”

“I saw Virginia for a birth trauma release about 20 weeks into my current pregnancy. I went into it not really sure what to expect but Virginia was so comforting and understanding and really made it such a beautiful experience. I have since been able to form a great connection and bond with my baby and am so excited for my birth and what is to come.”

“I engaged Virginia recently for a birth trauma release ceremony after experiencing a traumatic unplanned c-section with my son. At first I was hesitant at the prospect of sharing my feelings but Virginia made me feel extremely comfortable and I had no trouble expressing my real emotions about how I felt during my labour, my surgery and now. The birth trauma release ceremony helped me to reframe all the negative thoughts I had surrounding my son’s birth and to help me be able to see all the positives through all the darkness. Overall it was a very powerful, beautiful, personal and healing event that I believe will help me on my journey to have my VBAC in the next coming weeks. I recommend the birth trauma release ceremony with Virginia for anyone who may be struggling to come to terms with their labour and birth of their child.”
