A quick search on your go-to podcast app will bring up literally hundreds of different parenting podcasts. There are podcasts offering advice and practical parenting tips on every topic under the sun- from how to care for your new baby, ending tantrums, bedwetting and bickering, to managing matrescence and motherhood.

Those podcasts are plentiful and certainly serve their purpose for mums thirsty for knowledge and solutions… If that’s what you’re looking for.

Who’s behind the mics?

Launched late February by NOVA Entertainment, Not Another Parenting Podcast is hosted by two hilarious mums, Sarah McGilvray & Cathrine Mahoney.

It’s not gimmicky nor preachy, but essentially an authentic, light-hearted conversation between two great mates and mums who don’t aim to tackle any topics in particular, or take themselves too seriously- and you get to eave’s drop!

Sarah, is a mum of two preschoolers and a radio co-host, whose voice you may recognise if you’ve ever listened to Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa. She shares the spotlight here with Cathrine, a former publicist, self-confessed over-sharer and single mum of one tween son.

You’ll find no judgement here, just two women who are prepared to say exactly what they think and reveal their innermost secrets to make you laugh and help you survive another tiring day.
